Inspiration and Reference

Inspiration

I had choose my word of Banksy and Mueck. These two words is “evolve” and “change”. When I think of  “evolve” , I choose to made two different size of the “big building” .In my opinion, the simplest meaning of “evolve” just the size transfer from “small” to “big”.And I think there must be some communication of “evolve”, so I made a stair to connect these two buildings.

For the below part. I use the “change” to describe something like the “column” .Nowadays, columns just build in straight way, so I change it to curve line.As the same time, I didn’t choose the regular circle be the shape of below studio but a ellipse.

It is a simple bookshlef what will hold on the wall.It also can put some ligh ornaments on the medium floor.And i think it will save some space.

The second building is Beijing National Stadium.This building is the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games main stadium.This one use some new technology that make everyone has a good view point to watch game.And it will change the inside seats to satisfied many different situations.

This building is built in Shanghai 2010 World Expo.For this Expo, some section or buidings were use many old factoris.And this buiding was a chimney,but it change to be a thermometer during the Expo.I feel this design is novelty.
